These venues appear highly differentiated, catering to men of different cultural backgrounds and sexual proclivities, which led us to hypothesize that FSWs catering to men of various nationalities might also differ.
If supported, such data may be helpful for informing binational prevention efforts. The current study was conducted to determine whether FSWs who had US clients significantly differed from those who did not in 2 large Mexican-US border cities.
